They started the 45 day countdown to receive this information on July 15.
When I learned about this (by checking our insurance online portal on July 16) I immediately called the doctors and told them what insurance was asking for.
I know the doctors have already sent the information since that phone call, and yet the online portal still says that insurance needs this information.
What's looming over our heads is that 45 day time frame. If insurance doesn't have what they want by day 45, they are going to deny all aspects of that claim.
45 days is up on August 30.
We are trying to stay positive and not let this completely crush us, but to be honest, it is getting really hard.
