With all these restrictions I chose to have Phoebe sleep in bed with me the night after her surgery. That way I could keep a close eye on her and make sure I can get her anything she needs.
You would never have known she had surgery the day before. Phoebe woke up this morning still sore and swollen but in very high spirits. She couldn't wait to get downstairs to see her sisters, watch her favorite shows and cuddle on the couch with her favorite blanket and toys. It was the greatest feeling to hear her laughing and giggling, and to see her playing with her toys, sisters and Geeda (her grandma). She even wanted to go outside to play in the sand box and to pick flowers. As much as I wanted to let her go out and play, she had to stay inside and take it easy.
